The Hollywood Riviera is an upscale area which lies mostly within the city limits of Torrance. Single family homes predominate the area. There are single and two story houses. During the housing boom of the early 1990's the city limited the size of the houses in the area in an effort to protect the views of the views of homeowners in the area therefore larger Mansion homes limited in number here.

Hollywood Riviera Geography

The Hollywood Riveria area is known for it's rolling terrain,winding streets,and city views. The views on the North are of The city of Torrance ,the Los Angeles downtown skyline and the view of airplanes descending on their final flight path into LAX. On the west views of the Pacific Ocean and coast views to Santa Monica.

There is a fair amount of confusion for that a future Homeowner muCst adjust to due to the fact that some properties although within the jurisdiction of the city of Torrance are served by the
Redondo Beach Post office, because of this some of the homes have Redondo Beach addresses

The Hollywood Riviera is known to Real Estate Agents  As MLS area 128
It is bounded by Pacific Coast Highway on the north, Vista Montana Street on the east Newton St on the east extenfing to Hawthorne Blvd, the Pacific Ocean on the west.
